About us

GI GRIVA s.r.o. was founded in 2012 by a team of professionals with experience in various areas of healthcare. Over the past 10 years, it has become an established and reliable distributor of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and medical materials not only in the Czech Republic, but also in many countries of the European Union. In recent years, GI GRIVA has been growing dynamically, especially in the wholesale of medicines.

For the last 2 years we have been experiencing an unprecedented pandemic situation in the world. GI Griva, by virtue of its object of activity, perceives its share of social responsibility and therefore tries to help where it is most needed. Since the beginning of the pandemic, GI Griva has become a major supplier of medicines, respirators and masks, COVID testers, medical suits and other necessary medical supplies.

Who we deliver to

GI Griva is an important supplier of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals mainly to hospitals, government, pharmacy chains and other wholesalers. We have gradually expanded beyond the borders of the Czech Republic and now supply a number of European Union countries. We are a direct distributor for many manufacturers of medical supplies and medicines. Over the past 2 years we have become a reliable supplier of products that help fight the COVID-19 epidemic.

 Last year and this year were marked by significant foreign expansion. GI Griva management took the right decisions at the beginning of the pandemic and decided to focus on those products and drugs that help to fight the pandemic directly. This has resulted in a significant increase in sales and the countries in which we now operate. We are most active in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Croatia and Hungary.

We greatly appreciate the feedback we receive from doctors and medical staff. The quality of our product portfolio is appreciated by the top doctors who fight the effects of the pandemic every day.

We are able to respond to the ever-changing environment and continuously add to our product portfolio to meet the needs of our partners, i.e. physicians and healthcare professionals.

Our mission

We see our work as a mission to help the countries of the European Union and its health system to better cope with the consequences of the pandemic. In this sense, we are not primarily concerned with growing turnover and market share, but with our contribution to making healthcare facilities in the countries where we operate work better and thus helping to save lives.

Our logistics respond flexibly to the changing needs of our key partners. That's why we operate virtually 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In the case of urgent orders from medical facilities, we are able to deliver within hours.


Logistics optimisation

We continuously optimize our logistics routes in order to deliver to our customers in the shortest possible time, by the shortest possible route and with a minimum environmental burden (CO2).

Who are our customers

Our customers are medical institutions, wholesalers of medicines and medical supplies and government authorities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Croatia and Hungary.

Who are our suppliers

We are direct, in many cases exclusive, customers of many manufacturers of medical supplies and medicines. Currently, the majority of our purchases are products and medicines related to the fight against COVID-19.
